Our story began in 2005 with an idea: to build a professional, solid company with a long-term and clear vision, with staff qualified to the highest standards, with the ultimate goal of offering our clients in Romania customized solutions most suited to their needs. The name we chose for our company, Kunden Broker (“The Customer’s Broker”) is a clear reflection of these principles.

Our team’s experience in the international brokerage field equipped us with the insight to identify the key problem affecting the insurance market in Romania: the absence of client-oriented consulting. Both customers and service providers (insurance or asset management companies, and others) were seeking collaboration with an independent distribution partner. In this tripartite relationship among client, service provider, and brokers, the broker who best understands the customer’s needs, is able to build suitable solutions and can maximize the benefits for the client. But what options were out there?

There were already several brokerage firms operating on the market, but none were offering professional consulting needed to build medium- and long-term plans with the clients. This is where we could step in.

And so, Kunden Broker was born.

Our company represents the interests of its clients in relation to insurers and collects a brokerage commission from insurers based on the distributed product. We are not contractually obligated to work with a single insurer; instead, we offer our clients consultancy regarding the products available in the market, ensuring that personalized recommendations are made based on professional criteria, so that the insurance contract best meets the clients’ requirements and needs. Our company is authorized to provide consultancy regarding insurance products, collect insurance premiums, and issue insurance documents on behalf of the insurer.

Kunden Broker Companie de Brokeraj S.R.L. does not hold, directly or indirectly, voting rights, shares, or social parts in any insurer, and no insurer holds, directly or indirectly, voting rights, shares, or social parts in our company. The A.S.F. has developed procedures that allow clients and interested parties, especially consumer associations, to submit complaints against distributors. Disputes between clients and insurance distributors can be resolved through alternative dispute resolution procedures.
