Occupational Pensions

What is the benefit of an occupational pension?

The occupational pension essentially allows employers to provide their own additional pension schemes for their employees. In this respect, employers will work with firms that manage additional pensions and pay monthly contributions on behalf of willing employees. This means that such a scheme will have three major “actors” – the employer, the employees and the company that will manage the money – and will involve the provision of pensions from the contributions transferred by the employer and from the investments that will be made with those contributions.
