Agricultural insurance

Substantial investment is needed to obtain crops, but also to raise animals. The experience of recent years has shown that climate risks are becoming more frequent and more aggressive and therefore can no longer be neglected. The specifics of zootechnical activity and the multitude of environmental factors make it difficult to anticipate the risks that may affect animals. That’s why you need to make sure that your animals and/or crops don’t suffer and that your investment will be protected.

Agricultural crop insurance

You can insure all agricultural crops: cereals, technical plants, medicinal and aromatic plants, legumes, fodder plants, potatoes and vegetables, seed crops, fruit of vineyards, trees and hops, fruit shrubs, strawberries, greenhouses, solariums, seedlings and tunnels, tree and wine nurseries, rootstock plantations.

General Risks are: fire caused by any cause, torrential rains, storm, hail, sliding, collapse, landslide, early autumn frost, late spring frost.

Special risks

At your request and with the consent of the reinsurer, by way of derogation from the insurance conditions, on the basis of special clauses and additional insurance quotes (premiums), of the risks excluded under the insurance conditions may be covered and other risks, within certain limits set by the insurer. The insured amount shall be determined by the Insured together with the Insurer and shall represent all technological expenditure, excluding harvesting costs.

Animal Insurance

You can secure the following species and categories of animals: bovines and buffalo, sheep, goats, and lambs to fatten, pigs for breeding, pigs for fattening, sows with piglets until weaning, traction horses, thoroughbred horses from herds and racehorses, thoroughbred dogs, as pets, bee hives, birds of all categories: laying hens, breeding hens, breeding youth, broilers etc., ostriches, pheasants, ducks, geese, guinea fowls, quails, turkeys, snails, farmed fish.
