Civil, Legal, Professional and General Liability

Each successful business needs to cover civil liability, tailored to the risks specific to its business. Even when a company is working perfectly, accidents can happen. With adequate liability insurance, you can carry out your activity peacefully, and any damage accidentally caused to third parties, can be compensated.

This type of insurance covers the civil liability of your company, as insured, arising from the activity carried out, for the damage caused by your fault or that of your proxies (employees, apprentices, any other persons for whom you are responsible), to third parties, namely:

  • Personal injury (any physical injury suffered by a third person), temporary incapacity for work, permanent invalidity, death and/or damage to property (damage/destruction of property belonging to a third person);

  • Expenses covered and where such damage is caused by persons to whom the Insured is directly legally liable;

  • Damage to property, caused by pets belonging to the Insured;

  • Expenses arising from a trial (the amounts due are usually very large, hence legal liability insurance is very advantageous).

Compensation shall be provided for:

  • The compensatory amounts which you are obliged to pay to third parties injured as a result of the occurrence of insured events;

  • Costs incurred by the injured person for the completion of the legal formalities to compel you to pay compensation, if you have been ordered to compensation by final and irrevocable sentence;

  • Costs incurred by you in civil proceedings, determined by law or by the courts, if you have been ordered to pay compensation. To do this, you can choose liability limits according to the need for protection.

For comprehensive coverage, you can also make sure for the damage caused to your customers through additional clauses.
